Survivor Wave 145, 155

The Survivor comes in two sizes and is for the hardcore wave sailor that requires a stiffer boom. It utilises the Pro front fitting which has aluminium tubing moulded into the Nylon fitting to minimise flex. The boom extension is constructed from one piece of heavy duty aluminium tubing and utilises the Pro clew fitting. The adjustment system utilises heavy duty stainless steel pins which allow adjustment from 1.45m to 1.80m or 1.55m to 1.90m. These sizes have been carefully chosen to cover the majority of sail sizes used by the serious wave sailor without having excessive adjustment that leads to increased flex.

The Enduro is an excellent all round boom suitable for all facets of windsurfing and is built to take the harshest of conditions. The Enduro boom has the totally indestructible Enduro front fitting which includes a mast pad for protecting the mast and eliminating slippage. stiffness of the Survivor extension and adds an additional 22.5cm of

Extenda is fitted in seconds by simply unclipping the Quick Clips and
removing the Pro Extension, slip in the Extenda and snap shut the Quick
Clips, instantly you have the range of the next size boom and the added
stiffness needed to handle those bigger

Z Boom
(ONLY available in 32mm Diameter)
Hydrodynamix developed and patented the "Z" Boom (Wishbone) in the mid 1980's.
The intention was to minimise the occurrence of carpal-tunnel syndrome and tendonitis, which can result from prolonged use of a flat boom. The design of the "Z" Boom also gives better control and enables easier gybes, once the transition has been made to the straight wrist position.
The "Z" Boom utilises all of the Pro fittings which are renowned for strength, stiffness and reliability.
The "Z" Boom is suitable for all disciplines of windsurfing, it is particularly popular with sailors on the West Coast of the USA and throughout Europe as well as hardcore wave sailors in Australia.
